Air Asia Berhad will launch a direct flight from Thiruvananthapuram International Airport to Kuala Lumpur starting February 21. The service will operate with an Airbus 320 aircraft accommodating 180 passengers. Initially, flights will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This new route will provide connectivity to countries like Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore, meeting the long-standing demand for more East Asian connectivity and benefiting the travel and tourism sectors of Kerala and south Tamil Nadu.
