FDA, CDC investigation states that raw cheese is related to illnesses in as many as four states leading to an outbreak of E. coli. As a result of the outbreak, as many as 10 patients have been admitted to the hospital. One patient has developed a medical condition called hemolytic uremic syndrome which is a type of kidney failure.
