Imran Khan's party to sit in opposition; rules out joining any coalition govt in Pakistan: Top leader

By Economic Times - 9 months ago
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has announced that the party will not form a coalition government with rival parties PML-N or the PPP, despite having a majority in the newly elected Parliament. Independent candidates, mostly affiliated with Khan's PTI, secured the most parliamentary seats in the general election, but the PTI does not have enough seats in the 266-member National Assembly to form a government on its own.
