Volcano erupts in Iceland, disrupting life

Grindavik, a town closest to the volcano, was evacuated during the previous eruption in January. The Blue Lagoon, a popular tourist spot, is also evacuated as a precautionary measure. The Northern Light Inn is evacuated for the second time in a month. Video footage captured from a Coast Guard helicopter revealed a fissure spanning nearly two miles wide.
