Ongoing farmers' protests in Punjab have affected rail traffic on the Ambala division of the Northern Railway. Cancelled and partially cancelled services, as well as a route alteration, have been announced. The farmers are marching to Delhi to demand better crop prices, MSP guarantee, debt waiver, and pensions for farmers and farm labourers.
